P-51 Founder & Coach

Coach Darin Thomas is a 2001 graduate of John Handley High School in Winchester, VA.  As a youth he was a standout athlete in football, basketball, and track & field.  As a long sprinter he was a part of 3 VHSL State Champion Teams.  As a Division 1 400-meter runner at Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA Coach Thomas was a part of a track & field dynasty including 4 NEC indoor conference titles and 3 NEC outdoor conference titles.  In his post college career, he was introduced to the sport of flag football.  Since then, he has played with and against players from the professional ranks.  

Coach Thomas has lead his teams to 6 consecutive league championships.  5 of 6 of those seasons his teams went undefeated.  The P-51 Flag Football organization won 5 tournament titles in it's inaugural 2022 season and doubled with 10 championship titles in year two.  Thomas’ motto is “ALL IN. BALL OUT”  For over a decade Thomas has focused on coaching and developing leaders in the direct sales industry. He aims to instill the same knowledge and success principles into the lives of the youth.  He holds certifications through the National Association of Youth Sports, NFL Flag, as well as certifications from American Youth Football (AYF).  Coach Thomas is the founder of P-51 Flag Football.
